Biography:
Lando Calrissian is a character in the Star Wars universe, first appearing in The Empire Strikes Back. He's portrayed as a charismatic gambler and smuggler who was once the owner of the Millennium Falcon, which he lost to Han Solo in a sabacc game.
Prior to the events of Episode V, Lando became the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, a mining colony on the gas planet Bespin. He is initially presented as a suave and seemingly cooperative administrator to the Galactic Empire.
Circumstances force Lando to betray Han Solo and his companions to Darth Vader. However, motivated by guilt and a sense of honor, Lando redeems himself by assisting in their escape and joining the Rebel Alliance.
Lando played a significant role in the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, piloting the Millennium Falcon and ultimately destroying the second Death Star. He is later a General in the Resistance during the events of The Rise of Skywalker, aiding in the final defeat of the Sith.
